good morning i am in takeshita street i'm here with my friend cathy cat and i have a list of things that i've always wanted to do in harajuku but i haven't had a chance to and because i'm leaving soon i figured that now was my last chance
Harajuku, soc: exactly we've made a bucket list of things to do in harajuku and we're gonna try and get as many of them done as possible today the harajuku bucket list the ultimate harajuku bucket list, so if you're in japan and you only have one day in harajuku
here's a list of cool things you can do so make sure to subscribe to cathy i will link her down below. okay, let's get started we don't have much time i have been given a harajuku makeover i got some stickers some really cute pins for the whole look go over to hepcat channel and check it out. we're gonna. go outside and start a bucket list start okay so the first thing on my bucket list was this place this is the totti candy factory, and it smells amazing here you guys. i wish i could send the smell over to you and they have this huge rainbow cotton candy that i see everybody with in harajuku
i've always wanted one and i've never gotten so we're gonna make that happen today. so there's a mini rainbow one this little heart cotton candy they've got talent, but this is your bucket list so i think we should put money right there. yeah, the big ones share one it's you could share this with all your friends like a group of friends. it's got all these different flavors it says you could eat the whole thing and it's only 160 calories. yeah, but then you have a sugar rush it's so light! i expected it to be heavier for some reason i expected it to be more subtle, but it's quite grapey oh it is very grapey oh there we go you can just continuously eat this like spaghetti this is grape
you know what when i was i was suspicious the calorie count but this cotton candy's lighter than usual. it's not as dense. it's really really fluffy so there's not as much sugar used to make it i guess so that makes sense now i've seen some times girls get like one each for the pictures helping is in the end heart to finish though the crystallized sugar you can see it down here like this is the kind of little sugar bits that they use to then color in i like that it is a very japanese flavor, but it's kind of like 7 up or sprite
we've lost the grape lemon is good i wasn't sure what i was gonna think about lemon but i like that like a lemon tart or something well i'm really glad i was able to do this this was great. i don't know why i didn't come here for so long i'm glad we're doing this there's still many other things on our harajuku bucket list all right. let's go next i'm being taken around harajuku to some really cute instagrams spots head over to cathycat's channel to see those i'm in harajuku a lot so there are a lot of places i know for pictures
alright number two on my bucket list was to go to this little shrine that is just right off the to the left of takeshita street, it's called togo shrine i can't believe i've never been here have you been in here before? yes! aw that's so nice i've taken pictures here before cause it's really nice cause you have a bit of japanese scenery japanese garden you here are there koi in the water? don't see any koi. oh, yeah, like little goldfish like tiny goldfish they're warming
i think they're trying to warm themselves this place is really nice. it's really peaceful there were only two other people up there at the shrine it's really quiet and it's super pretty especially with the snow we got really lucky it snowed for the past two days here in tokyo which never happens so it's really neat to see a shrine with snow on the ground. if you go all the way down to the end of takeshita street and turn left it's just around the corner like a minute away we're taking a little lunch break we're in a cafe i don't even know the name of this place it's inside the new balance building it's called nothing better i think. nothing better. so also with nb
so it works. that's why but they have soy lattes and apple cider, which smell smells so good it smells like apple pie should have gotten that one, but this also looks pretty good, and then they have bagel sandwiches so we got some sandwiches and there's a vegetable one yeah, there's a veggie one. it looks really good. they're like fried an egg- fried eggplant and zucchini i think it said sounds yummy! looks really good. it's toasted and warm and it's got lots of like sautã©ed veggies in it
itadakimasu! okay so cathy cat has brought me to the design festa art gallery we found a little table here with some really pretty postcards by the artist and they're for free i thought i would do a little giveaway and send a package of these postcards to you guys if you would like this beautiful set of postcards leave a comment down below and tell me which spot in harajuku you would like to visit the most and i will choose one of you and announce it in my next video so keep an eye out for that one of the artists was so sweet and gave us both a piece of artwork
we're allowed to choose, which one we wanted. i'm going to include this in my giveaway so the giveaway is now for the set of really beautiful postcards and this drawing kay so something i've always wanted to get done in harajuku is my nails because they have the cutest nails and i feel like it's just something i need to do before i go and they last for a month so i'll still have them when i go to korea maybe if i'm lucky so i'm gonna get a valentine's design on my nails today because it's almost valentine's day the girl was so cute and she actually knew my channel
she was so excited when i came in it was adorable so it was really cool that we picked this place so yay nails! one hand is done! they're so cute! i love them they're so cute she made it herself she formed it with the gel powder and she wrote love on it. they're so perfect just wait till you see the other hand! it's even better look at the kanji! i think that's actually my favorite. kanji for love

and they have potato chips and they also have the potato sticks the jagarico which are like a famous japanese snack savory and sweet yeah, there are like savory flavors, but there's also sweet flavors, which are really intriguing i really want to get the potato chips with maple syrup on them i'm gonna try that and which flavor- i might go for chocolate on potato chips. that's what we're gonna do at calbee plus looks like they also sell lots of box snacks here if you want to take some home as souvenirs these ones look really good various types of sweet potatoes
it's actually not sweet it's actually salty- whaaat i totally expected them to be sweet apple chips from aomori prefecture guys remember from my aomori series that they're famous for apples they have really yummy apples all these different kinds cinnamon all right, so i asked for the maple and cream-cheese version just without the cream cheese so we have maple flavored potato chips here and cathy got the chocolate-covered ones with ice cream which is a very interesting combination, so i'm curious to see what she thinks of those freshly fried potato chips
good let's try this the saltiness of the potato chip with the sweet maple syrup, and they're so crunchy i think i just met like the mother of all potato chips. they're so delicious you guys i didn't know that potato chips would be this good if they're hot ice cream i wish i could have this like on the couch in front of the tv at home maybe you can make it yourself. we both definitely recommend coming to harajuku on a weekday if it's possible i guess just street-to-street we went up and down it'll be so packed on the weekend that you won't to be able to walk fast which means
