Between the 2 population centers of Makurazaki to the westward too Ibusuki inwards the east, the southern coast of Kagoshima has few accommodation options.
There are a few resort type hotels, only they were exterior of my cost range, too hence I was happy to honor Imayoshi-so. It's located inwards the hamlet of Ei, 20km from Makurazaki , 21km from Ibusuki, too 8km due north of Kaimondake, the biggest "attraction" inwards the area, too hence perfectly placed for a night's rest every bit I walked the coast.
Imayoshi-so was a fairly touchstone minshuku, amongst large tatami rooms, TV, kettle & light-green tea etc. They convey a large banquet room too hence are a skillful selection for groups. Wifi was too available only the forcefulness of the betoken varies past times room. I was the exclusively invitee the black I stayed too hence it was a picayune eerie.
There is a minor restaurant/dining room on the soil floor, only I stayed sudomari, without meals, too paid 4,500 yen for the night. Imayoshi-so is located a few hundred meters from Nishiei station on the JR Ibusuki Makurazaki Line, the southernmost rails business inwards Japan.
